Hi everyone,
I’ve been updating my kilometres regularly, but I haven’t posted an update for a while!
So far, I’ve ridden 110 kilometres over a total of 4.5 hours. I plan to ride another 10 km tomorrow, Sunday, which will leave me a week to complete the final 30 km. That means I’m on track to reach my 150 km goal!
A quick note about the records: the bike’s display has limited digits, so the timer and distance counter reset to zero when they reach their limits. I’ve been taking photos of the readings to keep track of my progress.
Now that I’m in the third week, the riding is getting easier. At first, my whole body ached, and it took a while to get used to it! But I kept going because I didn’t want to fall behind. I’m glad I persevered—I’m reaping the rewards now, and it feels good to be on track.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has donated, including colleagues I haven’t met personally. Your generosity means so much to me.
To those who donated anonymously: I can’t thank you personally, but whoever you are, please know that your support fuels me to keep riding!
I understand the organisers are pleased with the funds raised nationwide so far. I hope these donations help advance research into childhood cancer, and that developments in AI can also contribute to gentler, more effective treatments for little ones facing this disease. I truly hope so.
That’s it from me for now. I’ll post again next week when I reach my 150 km target!
P.S. Here’s a photo of Princess Lulu, who keeps me company on every ride. My very own support crew! Ha ha. 🐶💕
See you! 😊
