My Story

This year I contemplated retirement from the Great Cycle Challenge but, rembering why I'd been peddling and, realising that I was only $998 away from raising a total of $30,000, I'm back for a 9th Challenge. Your inspirational encouragement has enabled me to cycle 7,000 kilometres in my first eight Challenges and with your fantastic support, I’ve managed to raise $29,002.

The body is creaking a little more each year but inspired by the magnificent inroads that the CMRI is making in the fight against Childhood Cancer, I’m continuing ride on, as long as I can, to support these brave little Kids and their families, in the battle they face every day in their terrible fight. Cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in Australia. Every 2 minutes, a child is diagnosed with cancer. Kids should be living life, NOT fighting for it.
