My Story
It's unreal the amount of support I've had. I certainly didn't believe the $20k target would be reached this early but your awesome effort has achieved this milestone.

I have crunched the numbers and realise that with the awesome support from you that the $20000 target is within reach this campaign. If we realise this it will be a huge achievement over the 6 years of our participation in this event.
Together we can do this. Lets do it.

This is my sixth year of participation in this challenge.
Together we have raised over $16429 for the Children's Medical Research Institute.
This year I have pledged to ride 800kms and raise $2500.
Cancer is a scourge on our society and especially more so when children are inflicted with the disease.
Every dollar raised will enable continued important research into childhood cancers.
Your continued support is very much appreciated.

My Challenge

GCC26 Ride 17
25 Oct 2026And day 2 of my HCRT adventure. After a ride through countryside that had been devastated by the January bushfires todays was riding some 30km skirting the Hume Dam foreshore then final 20km on the rail trail and pathways to Albury. Good ride except for thunderstorm we were able to let pass while under cover.

GCC26 Ride 16
24 Oct 2026Today’s ride was the Shelley to Tallangatta Rail Trail. The trail is in the region which was devastated by bushfires earlier this year.

23 Oct 2026Ride 14 was my pre committed ride. Ride 15 is a precursor to the High Country Rail Trails in Victoria which start tomorrow from Shelley. Forecast looks iffy especially for Sunday.
